	Polis - the nearest town is only a 15 minute drive from Pomos along a very scenic coast road. You pass through old Cypriot villages with many coffee shops, where you can stop for refreshments and meet the local people. In the town of Polis there are gift shops, news agents, restaurants, pharmacies, doctors, a hospital, disco's, a museum,  a police station, and sandy beaches with tavernas.
